Rollover ads… we all know them… they’re the ones that start of tiny but the moment you roll over them (intentionally or otherwise), they expand and take over your screen.

Most times, it’s not even something you’re actually interested in. It’s in MSN Messenger (really bugs me!) and it’s across most news sites too!

I’d prefer a regular banner ad to a rollover on purely because it’s a lot less intrusive. Sure, you can do more with a rollover ad but you can do plenty with an ad, without making it rollover too!

Another place where ads are really annoying, is onYouTube and other video sharing sites. It was bad enough when they started putting square banners up on the right hand side, now, ads show up IN your videos at the bottom.

I don’t care if I can close them. I don’t want them to appear AT ALL.

What is it with advertisers, seriously?
